Entries

• Please send entries to Shannon Gareau. This includes entry form, waiver, and proof of insurance.
• Registration will be accepted by phone, fax, email, or in person. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to ensure entries are received on time.
• Closing Date: Tuesday, August 4, 2026
• A late fee of $4 per class (maximum $20/day) will be charged for late and post entries, accepted up to 1/2 hour prior to class. No exceptions.

Prizes

• Prizes as indicated; cheques are to be mailed out after the competition.
• All prize money will be sent to the owner of the horse under the exhibitor’s name.
• Ribbons awarded to 6th place.

Divisions

Novice Exhibitor — Division 1

Classes 1, 4, 14, 16, 21, 23

• Walk/trot only division.
• If showing in the Novice division, you may not show in any other division.
• Novice exhibitor may show a horse/pony that is being entered in another division.

Open Exhibitor — Division 2

Classes 2, 5, 15, 17, 22, 24

• Walk/trot/canter division.
• If showing open division, competitor may not cross enter to novice division on same horse.

Miniature Horse — Division 3

Classes 3, 8, 25, 26, 28

• Exhibitors may not show in any other division with the exception of open classes and pleasure driving classes.

Draft Horse — Division 4

Classes 6, 20, 27, 29

• Exhibitors may not show in any other division with the exception of open classes and pleasure driving classes.

Pleasure & Utility Driving — Division 5

Classes 7, 10, 29

• Open to all exhibitors with a suitable vehicle.
• Classes may be split according to height should the number of entries warrant.

Rules & Regulations

• A pony or horse competing in their respective divisions may be shared by an exhibitor in the novice division.
• Safety: An exhibitor of junior age (under 18 as of January 1st, 2026) must wear an ASTM approved helmet at all times while mounted at the fairgrounds.
• A pony or horse can be shown by a maximum of two exhibitors per class where applicable. If not, you will be excused without prize money for the day.
• All classes will run no matter the number in the class; however, management reserves the right to combine classes if there are insufficient entries, as well as split entries should they exceed 12 riders or drivers.
• English riders: ASTM approved helmets must be worn at all times while mounted. Show jackets are required.
• Stallions are permitted in breed classes only.
• Williamstown Fair General Horse Show Rules Apply.
