Welcome to the 1st Williamstown Fair Ambassador Competition
This is an opportunity for leadership, communication, and confidence development along with a $1,000 bursary and other gifts.
What’s Involved in the Competition?
- Complete application by July 5, 2024
- All contestants will have an interview with a panel of 3 judges
- Complete a bio of 100 words
- Answer an impromptu question
- Winner will be introduced at our opening ceremony on Saturday August 10
What are the Responsibilities of the Ambassador?
- Represent the Williamstown Fair at community events
- Take an active role in the 2024 Fair
- Involvement in the Williamstown’s Fair Marketing Committee with the emphasis on Social Media
- Attend the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies Convention in February 2025 (expenses paid)
- Represent the Williamstown Fair in the CNE Ambassador of the Fairs Competition in August 2025 (expenses paid)

- An outgoing individual eager to learn and get involved evidenced by volunteer experience
- Strong leadership skills gained as the Williamstown Fair Ambassador
- Proven organizational and time management abilities, assisting in the operations of the Williamstown Fair- a 3-day event with over 30,000 attendees
- Exceptional communication and public speaking skills representing the Williamstown Fair at community events
