I want to welcome everyone to the 214th edition of Canada’s oldest annual fair. The Williamstown Fair mirrors our proud history as it was founded by the Scottish pioneers of Glengarry County before the War of 1812. Over the centuries, agricultural fairs were instrumental in the advancement of agriculture in Canada. Our volunteers have worked hard to maintain those rich traditions with horse and cattle competitions, draft horse pulls, sheep shearing, rare breeds, farm produce and equipment displays, and our popular kid’s tractor pull. Join us for fun, activities, and entertainment with friends and neighbours. See you at The Fair!
Sincerely,
Jim McDonell, SLVAS President
